[December Theory]

Weird but pretty entertaining.

Very original track, I personally didn't like it for it's experimental side. Bass is pretty pumping. It would be a nice dub floor rocker if you added a stronger kick. I don't like the attack on the pads at 45 sec into the song. I like the plucked melody that starts from the beginning though. The track is pretty glitchy which is pretty cool. Maybe adding some percussion to the track would give it more character and soul. That's all I have to say about it. Not really my sound.

Which is pretty amazing, because it is still kicking ass in the Trance genre, even though it is a remix. There are things I could do with it, but I don't feel like messing with it, because it was made for the competition. I'm excited to hear the results though, and to participate in the next one.

Nice track.

Nice piano to begin it with. Great re verb effects.
Sound is nice and sharp. I wouldn't exactly call it trance. It's more break beats. At 1:07 the piano is layered when it starts playing chords, and there is a bell instrument playing. In my opinion it would be nice to turn those down since they are a bit hards on the ears. The sub bass frequencies are there but it would benefit the track if they were brought out more imo. Once it breaks into trance it's a pretty decent track.

Very insteresting first strings. Piano I think need smore delay. Reviewing this is like asking a major league baseball player to make a slam dunk, haha it's not my cup of tea :D

I was never into the happy hardcore but production values are pretty high here. Nice kick, I think you could bring it out a bit more. The main melody is a bit too high on the freq but its nothing atrocious, from my judgement, it seems like a good tune keep up the good work :D

Excellent melodies

Wow probably one of the best tunes I've heard here. I'm very impressed. Has a very progressive and uplifting feel to it. Bass is generic but does the job. Guitars are nice and sharp. Kick is nice and oomphy but you can make it a bit punchier ;)

Very impressive! a break down and all! Has a nice san francisco vibe to it. I like your melody witht he saws, could use a more reeverbed approach but very very nice. The best track handsdown I've heard :D

Reviewing as I listen.

The track starts out with a very loud saw mixed with a square synth I believe. My main problem is that the track's mixdown is too loud. All the frequencies seem to be clashing. I'm listening with mastering headphones and I hear alot of clipping and popping, meaning it's peaking too much. You need to EQ and compress alot. Try panning some instruments sligthly. The piano is distorting too bad, your hig freq are killing everything else. The melody is pretty nice and happy. Kick doesn't stand out too much. Bassline is kind of boring doesn't really catch my attention like I'd like it to. The track doesn't feel like it's going anywhere. Try adding effects and building a more atmospheric tune. Keep try mate just keep practicing. Add more percs and more hats.

I'll be honest for all ym reviews.

This track start out pretty powerful, although I don't like the kick, it's not strong enough. I would suggest having one be a LOW end kick, and one be a HIGH end, to give it that deep punchy feel. Maybe cutting the freq at 60HZ for the low subbass kick.

The melody is boring, I've heard millions of variations of it in millions of songs. It really didn't go anywhere. The track has a nice drive but it feels static throughout the track. The saws are too weak and don't give it that uplifting feel.

Composition is alright, one problem is that right after a drumroll, the melody cuts off. Maybe it's a loop?

In The end the track is boring and has no percussion elements, in example claps, highats, or bongos. The saw sounds dry, melody is uninspired. needs more layering sounds too empty as it is.
The only momet I like is the build up at 1:27 but that's it.

Sorry for sounding like a jerk but I'm honest.

Nice

This is the first decent piece I hear on New Grounds everything else sounds like dying cats. Good mixdown. I'm tired of everyone here thinking theyre audio engineers.

Althoug the track lacks any real progression. A proper bassline and a build up, break, intro and outro would give the track much justice. Nice automations. Bass line requires more Subbass freq, at around 60 hz to give it that lower oomph on top of your rolling bassline.

Im glad the mixdown was ok, took me a long time. About the progression, it did have and intro, break, build up, outro, chorus etc., but it was much to big for newgrounds, 5.8 megs or something, so i had to cut it down, removing a lot of them :( . I'll try that tip you gave me about the subbass.
